Bartending is an Art. It is viewed on many different ways by the people out of the industry. Ask a Bartender about the Bartending and You will find that it can not be explained in several sentences. If a bartender continues endleessly talking about the theme, You are having a conversation with a real profeisional, a true Bartender. If there was no space in sense to expand and create all additional dimensions that came into Bartending, such as Molecular Mixology or Flair, the profesion wouldn't come to such growth of popularity, profesionalism and expertise on variety of fields in Hospitality industry.
My path was no different than many of my colleagues. In age of 21 I got a chance to really peak deeper into sphere of Bartending by comming to a cruise ship to work as a Bar Waiter. Recognizing that it suits my personality perfect, I did not waste time and went to get the opportunity. Within one Year I was Bartender on my second Contract for Carnival Cruise Lines. Working as Bartender on various places with different concepts, owning a bar, running bars and clubs, founding a bartender school and bartender association, taking place in competitions and organizing many of those as well as events I went trough most of the dimensions of art of Bartending. Yet, there are more to discover and live in.
I have created this blog to further share my views on this subject and, together with You, to discover more, to help to evolve further and help the Art of Bartending to represent all of it's dimensions to a wide public.
